Toshalina of Kendrapara has been given photocopied answerscripts of all nine subjects following a directive from the state information commission. The girl, who wrote the examination in 2002, had moved the panel invoking the Right to Information Act after the BSE turned down her plea. The board, meanwhile has taken a policy decision on the matter. “We have decided in principle to provide photocopies of answerscripts to examinees on request,” BSE secretary Minaketan Pani told The Telegraph. Examinees can get answerscripts for a period of eight months on payment of a nominal fee. |
